The waitress acted like this was not abnormal, and one of our party addressed the matter with the manager privately. While attending the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, Hudson worked under 2x James Beard Award winner, Hugh Acheson, at Five and Ten Restaurant, working from dishwasher to manager within two years. Since he was a kid, Hudson has always known he wanted to be a restauranteur. Another order was three scallops sitting in a puddle of pretty tasteless and under-seasoned puree ($34). But other tables had come and gone while we waited and waited. The waitress said there was only one cook. Five minutes after that three people got their food, and one person still had nothing. About five minutes later, four people got their food (one of which had to be sent back because it was so salted it was inedible).
